Gladbrook-Reinbeck National Honor Society Inducts 20 members

Gladbrook-Reinbeck National Honor Society
The Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School National Honor Society held Induction Ceremonies on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 in the Commons at the high school in Reinbeck. Nine new members along with eleven former Gladbrook-Reinbeck Achievement Club of Excellence (G.R.A.C.E.) members were inducted into the Gladbrook-Reinbeck National Honor Society.
Criteria for new inductees includes the following: Academic: Students must be juniors or seniors, have a grade point average of 3.50 or higher after the second trimester of the junior year. Community Service: Minimum of ten hours of community service per year. Character: No good conduct violations during your high school years. Participation: Students must also participate in at least two GRHS activities (sports, fine arts, and clubs) with no conduct violations. Leadership: Students must also write a 500-word essay on how they have personally demonstrated leadership and character in the past year.
Students are nominated by the faculty. Jennifer Strohbehn is the sponsor of the Gladbrook-Reinbeck National Honor Society.
Erik Skovgard, President and CEO of Lincoln Savings Bank was the guest speaker for the evening.
The new members were introduced and recited the Pledge and signed their name into the register of the NHS of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School.

Former Gladbrook-Reinbeck Achievement Club of Excellence (G.R.A.C.E.) members inducted were Britiney Ackley, Colton Clark, Rachel Cooley, Tyson Creswell, Brittin Evenson, Jackson Kiburis, Rachael Scarf, Jada Schlampp, Alex Schweppe, Jadon Spear and Madison Westwater.
New Inductees are Trevor Harrison, Hannah Quackenbush, Chloe Ritchey, Jordan Sherman, Reagan Skovgard, Brianna Strohbehn, Jasmin Terven, Tyler Tscherter and Kaylee Young.
A reception was held after the ceremonies.
