Rosenberger retires Tama Co. Health

“I’m very thankful for the opportunity I had to work at Tama County Public Health. I have met and worked with many amazing community individuals and organizations. Tama County is very blessed to have so many people who care and work tirelessly to make our county safe, healthy and a positive place to live,” Linda Rosenberger said upon her retirement as CEO / executive director of Tama County Public Health and Home Care on Jan. 1. She has held the post for over 14 years. She wrote, ” My retirement plans definitely include becoming more involved as a volunteer in this community! I’m also extremely appreciative of the support I received as Director from the Tama County Board of Health, the Board of Supervisors, the Advisory Board and the Finance Committee, as well as the Iowa Department of Public Health and surrounding county Public Health Directors. “Lastly, I cannot say enough about how fortunate I have been to work with a very caring, strong and competent staff. I was able to work with Shannon for four weeks and I feel she has the experience and heart for this job. She will lead the team well along with Assistant Director Lori Johnson. I’m excited for her and Tama County!”
