The Gladbrook Family Pharmacy opened their doors for business on October 1. According to owner and pharmacist, Tim Madsen, “A Grand Opening is planned for Thursday, October 18 from 5 to 7 PM. The Tama County Cattlemen will be grilling and tents and chairs will be set up. We are looking forward to being in Gladbrook.”

The business is located on the east end of 2nd Street right next to Covenant Clinic and directly across the street from Hometown Foods. Pharmacy hours are 8:30 to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Store Manager and Certified Pharmacy Technician Sara Upah will be in the store full time and a pharmacist will be in Gladbrook every Wednesday. Prescriptions will be filled on site and there is a large inventory of over the counter drug items.

A Telepharmacy is available in a room in the pharmacy. This allows for direct interaction with pharmacists Tim Madsen and Derek Townsend. Both are located at the Toledo Medicap Pharmacy.
