Garwin Lions donates $1,000 to Garwin Fire Department By Margaret Thomsen
With proceeds from the Garwin Lions Club Annual BBQ Supper the club has donated $1,000 to the Garwin Fire Department. The money will go toward funds to erect a new Fire Station in Garwin. Lions President Mark Polich said, “We think this is an important part of our community for us to have a new fire station.” Fire Chief Todd Kearney accepted the funds on behalf of the Garwin Fire Department.
