Monday morning, January 16, Tama County Board of Supervisors met despite the covering of ice with Third District Supervisor Dan Anderson, Second District Kendall Jordan and First District Larry Vest, meeting by telephone. The Board canvassed the Drainage District 1 Election which was held on Saturday, January 1 4, 2017. There were four votes cast, all for Arlene Schmit. All three supervisors voted to approve the election. In other business the Treasurer’s Semi-Annual Report was approved, the Sheriff’s Quarterly Report approved and the Auditor’s Quarterly Report approved. Claims were presented and approved for payment. The meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
