Mindy Benson, Emergency Management, was present to discuss with the Tama County Board of Supervisors, Kendall Jordan, Larry Vest and Dan Anderson, 911 mapping-GEO comm. Benson says this information would run around $65,000, and wonders if there is any kind of funding available for such improvement. Information requested by t he supervisors include the total census of Tama County, what percent is rural and what percent is urban. Benson will gather all information needed and get back with supervisors. Lyle Brehm, Tama County Engineer, told supervisors he would be working on Highway E49 ( better known as Old Highway 30 between Tama and Marshall County line. Brehm has plans for resurfacing this highway from the Marshall County Line east to the Raven Creek Bridge. Claims approved for payment for the past week came to $415,847.11.
