Tama County Supervisors met with County Engineer Monday morning for his weekly report. Brehm says the work scheduled for last week on Highway E49 between Tama and Montour went well, and E49 is now open for traffic. The Bridge crew will be working on a bridge southwest of Otter Creek Park as well as they will soon go to Oneida township southwest of Clutier. A work permit was approved for Consumers Energy for work to be done in Carlton Township. Claims approved for payment for the past week came to $245,660.86.
