The Gladbrook Commercial Club will be hosting the 19th annual Gladbrook Tree Lighting Festivities on Mon., Nov. 23rd, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. It will also be the lighting of the 11th annual Festival of Trees in the City Center. Area businesses will be open promoting sales and a Holiday Ornament Hunt. The finished ornaments will be placed on a tree in the City Center and there will be a drawing for both a special adult & child basket of prizes. Santa Claus will be present from 5-6:30 passing out Santa Sacks. The caroling by the G-R Chorus, tree lighting and drawing for adult and kid prizes will be held at 6:30. There will be trolley rides, cider and hot dogs. If you would like to decorate a tree for the Festival of Trees registration forms can be picked up at the theater.
