Gladbrook Scouting For Food Drive October 17
The annual Scouting for Food drive will occur on Saturday, 17 October. Cub Scouts from Gladbrook Pack 327 will be collecting food from around town and deliver it to the local food bank for use by residents of Northwest Tama County. If you’d like to donate, please place your non-perishible food items in a bag on your front steps before 9am on Saturday. If you live outside of Gladbrook and would like to donate you are encouraged to bring your donation to the food bank after 9am on Saturday. The food bank is located on the lower level of the United Methodist Church in Gladbrook. Alternately, you can contact Reverend Barb Muhs at 563-357-9723 or blmuhs@fbcom.net to arange a donation. A donation box for food items will also be available at Hometown Foods through Saturday morning. Last year the Cub Scouts of Pack 327 collected almost 850 items for the food bank. Please help support our scouts as they “Do a Good Turn” for our local community.
