Monday morning the Tama County Board of supervisors met with Larry Vest being absent. Vest was absent due to being called for jury duty. The Meskwaki Nation is planning a fun run for Domestic Violence Awareness on Friday, October 16, 2015. They have requested a temporary road closure for a portion of 340th Street west of Highway 63 for the event. Supervisors approved to close 340th Street between Highway 63 and 1836 340th Street to be closed on October 16th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Claims approved came to $103,075.80
