Tama County Supervisors Larry Vest, Kendall Jordan and Dan Anderson, met with Tammy Wise to discuss Insurance Updates. Wise stated as of July 1, 2015 deductibles will change. Tama County Economic Development and Tama County Landfill are separate entities and will have a different rate of increase than regular Tama County employees. County Engineer Lyle Brehm told supervisors the road crew working on 340th Street was to start today but has been pushed back to Wednesday and maybe longer. Brehm also told supervisors the work on the bridge near Gladbrook is going according to expectation. Permits were approved for Grundy Center REC to do work in Buckingham Township, Sections 1 and 2, and also for work to be done at 2166 245th Street. A permit for Poweshiek Water Association to do work in Howard Township, Section 10, was approved. Since there is new personnel in the Emergency Management office, an update was needed for credit card signatures. These were approved for Jeremy Cremans and Mindy Benson who replace the past persons working in these positions, with the past names being removed. Fox Ridge Winery LLC, 1465 L Avenue in Traer, applied for a Liquor license. Having everything in order the board approved unanimously for the license. Claims were approved in the amount of $100,749.35.
