GMG to host “Youth Suicide Prevention” on March 25 By: Margaret Thomsen

Motivational speaker Jeff Yalden will be speaking at GMG High School on Wednesday, March 25. The topic of his presentation is “Youth Suicide Prevention”. Yaldon is a renowned Celebrity Teen ad Life Coach and Suicide Prevention Expert. GMG School Nurse Tracy Anderson said, “Jeff Yalden is a high energy, “tell it like it is“, youth motivational speaker and parent communicator. He will provide a dynamic and entertaining message about teen depression and suicide that parents/guardians and the community need to hear.” Anderson went on to explain, ” Jeff Yalden is the “Go to Guy!” when schools and communities are looking for light and answers ……. you will walk away feeling that we can make a difference as a community…” On Wednesday, March 25, Yalden will be speaking to the fifth through seniors the last block of the day. And he will present an In-service to staff immediately after school. The public is invited to attend the one and one-half to two hour presentation beginning at 6 PM on Wednesday, March 25. The event will be held in the gym at the GMG High School in Garwin. Admission is free. Due to the nature of the presentation it is intended for adults only.
