Tama Co. Supervisors By: Joyce Wiese
Tama County Engineer Lyle Brehm informed the Tama County Board of Supervisors, at their regular meeting Monday morning, the road department has been cutting brush. Brehm says it has been a good week with no snow to be plowed. Brehm also had three utility permits to be approved. These were for Spring Creek, Indian Village and Tama Townships. These permits will cover work to be done by Windstream. A request from the Presbyterian Church for use of the Courthouse Lawn was discussed. Supervisors agreed the Church should be allowed to use the Court House lawn on the afternoon of April 4th for an Easter Egg Hunt. Claims for the past week approved came to $121,252.89.
