Hunt & Associates, P. C., Certified Public Accountants, released an audit report on Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District in Reinbeck, Iowa. The District’s revenues totaled $7,743,376 for the year ended June 30, 2014, a .6 percent decrease from the prior year. Revenues included $3,584,423 in local tax, charges for services of $571,021, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $1,048,421, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $13,346, unrestricted interest of $23,535 and other general revenues of $2,502,630. Expenses for District operations totaled $7,710,456, a 1.9 percent decrease from the prior year. Expenses included $4,594,401 for instructional services, $676,161 for administrative services, and $663,048 for operation and maintenance of plant services.
