Micheal Lage
Micheal Bryan Lage, 70, of Reinbeck, Iowa, passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 29, 2024, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, IA.
Micheal was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his wife Debbie, son Eric (Brenda), and grandson Ethan. Micheal was a very devoted father, always making time to spend with his son camping, fishing, attending track meets, and being involved in Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed attending Waterloo Bucks and Blackhawks games. One of his greatest joys was reading and playing with his grandson. Micheal was well-loved by family and friends. Micheal was born in Marshalltown, Iowa on October 7, 1953 and graduated from Grundy Center High School in 1972. He and Debbie were married in 1977. He worked at NCM in Grundy Center for several years and retired from John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa.
Micheal is survived by his wife Debbie, son Eric (Brenda) Lage, and grandson Ethan; sisters Colleen (Tom) Eagan and Barbara DeVries, uncle Russ Lage, mother-in-law Caroline Royer, sister-in-law Cindy (Curt) Plaehn and brothers-in-law Jeff (Jovie) Royer and Greg Royer. Micheal is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Micheal was preceded in death by his father Elmer Lage, mother Frances Lage, and uncles Glen Lage, Don Lage, and Merle Lage, and father-in-law, Jack Royer.
Memorial Services will be held at Lincoln Salem Church, Lincoln Iowa on Friday, May 10th at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation one hour before service. There will be a burial at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
