Lawrence Wacha

Lawrence (Larry) Charles Wacha passed away at Sunny Hill Center, Tama, under the care of Iowa River Hospice, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and some members of his family.

A service will be held Saturday, March 9 at 10:30 AM at Garwin Valley Community Church. He will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are also invited to attend a visitation on Friday, March 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet; his children – Sharon Bovaird, Philip (Angela) Wacha, Michael (D’Laine) Wacha and Duane (Jennifer) Wacha; his step-children – Terri (Tim) Wingert, Mark (Carla) Goettsch and Angela (Kirk Paterson) Goettsch; his sisters – Catherine Inglove, Judith Wacha and Betty Deischer.
