Marley Bacon

Marley Bacon, 85, of Garwin, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, under the care of Iowa River Hospice.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 4 at Garwin Valley Community Church in Garwin with Pastor Seth Hedman officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Garwin Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, November 3 at Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joan; children: Curtis Bacon, Marcia (Bernie) Schuller and David (Frances) Bacon; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; his sister Betty (Ralph) Geiter and other family and friends.
