Connor Michael Allen, 17

Connor Michael Allen, 17, of Reinbeck, Iowa passed away on July 10, 2023 from injuries sustained from a UTV accident.

Connor was born September 12, 2005, in Waterloo, IA. He graduated from Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School on May 14, 2023. He was planning on starting Hawkeye Community College in the fall to begin his degree in social work. While in high school he participated in baseball and soccer.

Connor loved the outdoors, especially watching the sunsets and hanging out with “the boys” at their favorite bridges.

Connor loved football, especially the Minnesota Vikings. He also loved the Toronto Raptors and WWE wrestling. He enjoyed going to live wrestling events and even heckling the wrestlers!

Connor never met a stranger and had a way of making you want to be around him. His smile and sweet soul will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at Elmwood Park in Reinbeck on July 29, 2023, at 5:00 PM.

Connor is survived by his parents, John Allen, of Marshalltown; Kristie (Jason) Evans, of Cedar Rapids; sister Lauren Allen; brother Alex Allen; brother Austin (Samantha) Allen, of Charles City, and nephews Skylar and Kallin Allen; grandmother Joann Hendries, of Reinbeck; aunt Nicole (Lee) Finholt, of Waterloo and cousins Aubrey and Hannah; uncle Cris Allen, of Sigourney, IA.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Allen and Billie McGrew; maternal grandfather Tom Sawyer; and uncles Tim and Bill Allen.
