Eva “June” Haack, 103, of Gladbrook, IA, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at Peace United Church of Christ. Interment follows at Crystal Cemetery. Eva “June” was born June 4, 1919, to Herman and Edith Slate in Stark, IA. A longtime resident of Gladbrook, June and her husband, Clarence, raised one daughter, Linda. June babysat for many Gladbrook families. She had a love for cats, birds, kids, gardening and being with her neighbors.

June will be missed by her daughter, Linda.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her parents, one sister, Charlene, and two brothers, Mearl and Glen.
