Drew James Becker, age 2

Drew James Becker, age 2 of Austin, Minnesota died Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. He was born April 1, 2014, in Austin, Minnesota the son of Joshua J. and Heidi J. (Grove) Becker. Drew was a people person and loved to be with his sister and his family. He enjoyed adventure, tractors, rockets and riding on the family “gator”. He was a member of the Faith Church family in Austin, Minnesota. Survivors include his parents, Josh and Heidi Becker of Austin; his sister, Molly Becker of Austin; paternal grandparents, Brad and Deb Becker of Emmetsburg, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Jim and Deb Grove of Ames, Iowa; maternal great-grandmother, Marj Grove of Gladbrook, Iowa, paternal great-grandparents, Norm and Jan Cretsinger of Coon Rapids, Iowa; paternal great-great grandmother, LaVon Smouse of Coon Rapids, Iowa; aunts and uncle, April Grove, Brian Grove and Jennifer (George) Landsberger and many other relatives and friends. Drew was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Phyllis Becker, his maternal great-grandfather, Russell Grove and maternal great-grandparents, Elvertus and Phyllis Ploen. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Faith Church in Austin, Minnesota with Pastor Mike Sager, officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 24th at Faith Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the family or the donor’s choice.
