Obituary-Heather M. Landt June 13, 1980 – January 17, 2016

Heather Margaret Landt 35, Neosho, MO, died January 17, 2016 at her home in Neosho, following a lengthy and difficult fight with cancer. Heather was born June 13, 1980 in Elgin, Illinois. She was a homemaker and loved being a stay at home mom. Spending time with her children and family and doing crafts and scrapbooking were here favorite past times. She was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church. Heather married Cody Lee Landt on October 10, 2005 and he survives. Also surviving are two children, Cloee Willow Landt age 5 and Tryten Hunter Landt age 4; her parents, Milton and Kathy Scherer; maternal grandmother, Maxine Wingren; two sisters, Kimberly Benn and husband, Benji and Megan Link; one brother, Brian Scherer and wife, Nikki; eight nieces and nephews, Brady, Briana, Mathew, Maelyn, Mason, Aryssa, Samantha and Wyatt; one great niece Remedy; Father in law and mother in law, Mike and Ronda Landt; brother in law, Chad Landt and wife, Mandy; grandparents in law, Bill and Doris Tessau and Ray and Dorothy Landt, as well as many devoted aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Heather’s Life will be held in Menomonie, WI at the First Congregational Church, 420 Wilson Avenue, on April 2. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with the Celebration of Heather’s Life at 11:00. Lunch and a time of fellowship and visiting will follow.
