Doris Leora Hayes

Doris Leora Hayes was taken on the wings of angels to be with her Savior on February 28, 2012. She was born February 1st, 1934 to Merton and Lydia Miller Scalf. She married the love of her life Ira “Wade” Hayes February 5th, 1951. Spending time and traveling with and taking care of family brought great joy to her.

Dorie was blessed with two sons David [Barb] and Daniel [Linda], five Grandchildren David JR [Lawanda], Mathew, Susan [Keith], Jed and Wendy [Marc] and 9 Great-Grandchildren. “Aunt Dorie” was also blessed with many nieces and nephews who were like children of her own. She is also survived by 5 sisters Carolyn, Ethel [Don], Evelyn [Bob], Dorothy and Barbara and 1 brother Daniel [Linda].

Doris was preceded in death by her mother and father, 2 sisters Louisa and Iva, and 2 brothers Calvin and George.

As per her wish, services will be held at a later date when the weather is warm and beautiful, so travel is safe and enjoyable.
