GLADBROOK – Another big crowd is expected for our 14th annual Kids Shopping Day set for Saturday, Dec. 12, 9 a.m. to noon, at Peace Church, and the organizers hope you can join us! Volunteers will be needed. Those available to help that day, or those who have questions for the organizers, are asked to call Jeanne at 641-751-2039.

Donated items can be dropped off at the Gladbrook Methodist Church or Peace Church at any time. Those in need of a pick-up of gift items, are also asked to call Jeanne. The “guys” will be happy to stop by the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 8.

It’s great that the churches, organizations, and individuals in the community always find ways to help with KSD efforts to support the area’s children and families. Financial contributors are wholeheartedly thanked for monetary donations that help purchase gifts for each shopper or to boost the number of gift items in those departments with only a few items. Heaps of gratitude are also owed to those who work so hard to wrap gifts, assist the youngest shoppers, and, of course, donate new or gently used items to be used as gift items in the KSD Christmas Store. Thank you all for sharing the love of Jesus with so many.
