Syhlman, O’Donnell crowned Grundy County Fair royalty

GRUNDY CENTER – The All-American Grundy County Fair kicked off Monday, July 20, with the evening crowning of fair royalty. Peter O’Donnell of Grundy Center (back left) was named king, while Josey Syhlman of Dike (back right) was crowned queen. Justin Anderson (front left) and Ainslee Degener (front right) were crowned fair prince and princess, respectively. McKenna Steinmeyer received first runner-up honors and Ainsley Scott received second runner-up. Queen Syhlman was crowned by the 2025 Grundy County Fair Queen, Riah Schrage who went on to win the Iowa State Fair queen contest last summer in Des Moines.
