GLADBROOK – Round up your friends and family and make plans to attend the 2026 Tama County Fair, happening Monday, July 13 through Sunday, July 19, at the fairgrounds in Gladbrook. Get ready for a week filled with excitement, entertainment, and the best of what our community has to offer.
All year long, Tama County’s dedicated 4-H and FFA members have been hard at work raising animals, creating projects, and building skills. Now it’s time for them to shine. From livestock shows to creative exhibits, their efforts will be on full display, showcasing the passion, determination, and talent of local youth.
But the Tama County Fair is more than competitions, it’s an experience for everyone. Spend your days exploring exhibit buildings, strolling through livestock barns, and enjoying everything the fairgrounds have to offer. There are many opportunities for younger fairgoers to take part in crafts, scavenger hunts, and hands-on activities. And don’t forget the food! The fair features everything from delicious homemade pies to refreshing snow cones.
