GLADBROOK – The 91st annual reunion of the descendants of Frederick and Bertha Handorf was held Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Gladbrook Memorial Building. Vari Nelson, president, presided over the business meeting. Thirty-five relatives were in attendance with the farthest coming from Florida. The oldest member present was Burton Butler of Cedar Rapids, and the youngest relative was Winnie Lair of Waterloo. The 2025 meeting minutes were read by Secretary Bryn Hayes as well as correspondence from relatives unable to attend. Members attending shared family updates. Next year’s reunion will be held on June 13, 2027, at the Memorial Building in Gladbrook with the same officers in charge.
