GLADBROOK – A succession of short services organized by members of the Gladbrook American Legion and Auxiliary will take place on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at area cemeteries. Services will include Laying of Wreaths, Taps, and Honor Guard/Firing Squad.

The 11 a.m. service will include Opening Prayer, Raising the Flags, Address by Rev. John Granchie, Laying of Wreaths, Benediction, Honor Guard/Firing Squad, and Taps.

Schedule as follows:

8:00 a.m. 15-Mile Grove (Lincoln Township)

8:20 a.m. Maple Hill

8:45 a.m. Badger Hill

9:10 a.m. Chapel Cemetery

9:30 a.m. Union Grove Cemetery

9:50 a.m. Union Grove Lake Beach (for those lost at sea)

10:15 a.m. Crystal Cemetery

10:30 a.m. Gethmann Cemetery

11:00 a.m. All Veterans Memorial (Hwy 96, Gladbrook)
