REINBECK – Arlington Place of Grundy Center, an assisted living and memory care community, continues to bring meaningful experiences to residents through its Dare to Dream program. The program focuses on fulfilling lifelong wishes or revisiting beloved traditions from residents’ pasts.

For the month of March, the community selected resident Frances “Fran” Davis, a Reinbeck native well known for her deep love of family and gatherings with those closest to her. Throughout her life, Davis treasured spending time with family, especially during Sunday night outings with her late husband to Nana Rosa’s located in downtown Reinbeck. While there, they enjoyed pizza, conversation, and the welcoming atmosphere of the local restaurant.

To honor that cherished tradition, Arlington Place hosted a special gathering on Friday, March 27 at Nana Rosa’s, inviting Davis’s family and close friends to join her for an evening filled with laughter, memories, and connection. The event also featured live music performed by Billy Wilson, adding to the celebratory gathering.

The Dare to Dream program is designed to celebrate residents as individuals, recognizing the past experiences that shaped their lives. By recreating these meaningful moments, Arlington Place staff aim to promote joy and a strong sense of belonging within their community.

Arlington Place continues to use the Dare to Dream program as a way to strengthen bonds between residents, families, and the surrounding community one dream at a time.
