Just a roads report

TOLEDO – The snow had melted away, taking with it the last remnants of a lingering winter; the seasons were changing, the sun was shining, and it was again Monday, time for the Tama County Board of Supervisors’ March 24 meeting.
If you were going to miss a meeting, this was the one to miss, as very little happened. The majority of the time was taken up by public comment and discussion of various topics, including the future of public and home health.
The roads report made up the meat of this meeting. It was reported that they worked on a bridge east of Clutier on E36 and will look at a low water crossing on the north side of Clutier.
Supervisor David Turner updated everyone on what he’s been working on, and that was about it for the meeting.
Claims totaling $86,156.94 were approved.
