Gladbrook Women’s Club holds March meeting

GLADBROOK – On March 12, 2026, the Gladbrook Women’s Club held its March membership meeting at the Methodist Church.

Joan Hayward Helm presented from the Tama County Historical Society. She brought booklets about the Gladbrook School and Women’s Group in addition to several other items of interest. She encouraged people to check the Facebook page for hours. She commented that Chelsea has a great Historical Facebook page as well.

Co-President Rhonda called the meeting to order. Roll call was answered by 17 members by talking about celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day.

Minutes of the February meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurer’s report for February was read and has been approved.

Old Business:

-Hostess and committee signup sheets were routed.

New Business:

-Easter Egg Coloring at Westbrook Acres is planned for March.

-Senior Citizens salad luncheon is April 9; discussed the presenter for the meeting

-Nominations for officer positions in 2026-2027 year; co-president is still open

-Spring outing – Grout Museum brochure passed around and discussed lunch ideas

-Discussed Tama County Fair
