MORRISON – The annual Grundy County Heritage Museum Open House will take place on Sunday, March 29, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the museum located at 204 Fourth St. in Morrison. The event is free and open to the public. Come and tour the museum and enjoy free refreshments.
Special guest speaker Ben Neff will present at 2 p.m. Neff is a local farmer and photographer who has perfected the craft of capturing the hidden moments of Iowa’s wildlife. From forests to fields, he has photographed the march of bucks in the early morning, the dazzling colors of songbirds, the sunset stalking of a coyote, and even the nap of a baby badger in its own earthy home. Neff is sure to have some tales to tell of how he crafts his artwork around these scenes. Join us to learn more while also viewing the Jim Freed miniature Grundy County Courthouse display!
