Grundy County Community Foundation to host free grant guideline workshop Nov. 12
GRUNDY COUNTY – Local nonprofits and government agencies are invited to attend a free grant guideline workshop hosted by the Grundy County Community Foundation (GCCF) on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at noon. The virtual session will help organizations prepare for GCCF’s upcoming 2026 grant cycle.
Participants will learn about this year’s grant guidelines, budget template, and online application process, as well as get grant writing tips and a chance to ask questions.
“The workshop is a great opportunity for local organizations to learn how GCCF funding can support their community projects,” said Lexie Hach, Chair of the GCCF volunteer committee. “We want to make the process as approachable and transparent as possible, especially for those who may be applying for the first time.”
The 2026 GCCF grant application opens Nov. 15, with a deadline of Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. Applications must be submitted online at www.grundyccf.org. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) nonprofits, government entities, and other charitable organizations serving Grundy County.
Organizations can register for the free workshop at www.CFNEIA.org/events.
The Grundy County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, which partners with local residents to create lasting charitable impact in 20 counties across the region. Learn more at www.grundyccf.org.
