GARWIN – On Tuesday, Nov. 11, beginning at 10 a.m. in the lower gym, GMG will host a Veterans Day program at the secondary school in Garwin. The event is open to the public. The ceremony should last between 30 and 45 minutes. Schedule as follows:

-Introduction of Colors

-Pledge of Allegiance

-GMG Junior student emcees will welcome all; describe the history of and explain importance of Veterans Day

-Choir or small group vocalists will sing The National Anthem

-Band will play a medley of songs from each of the branches of military

-Honored Speaker Captain John Miller, Ret. United States Army

-Flag-folding demonstration/explanation

-Slideshow with music

-Playing of Taps-Echo

-Removal of Colors
