GMG High School announces 2025 Homecoming Court

GARWIN – GMG High School recently announced the 2025 Homecoming candidates and attendants.

Queen candidates this year include Landry August, Hadlee Hempy, Brooklyn Jones, Rhianna Murty, and Jocie Parks. Queen attendants include Grace Mathern (freshman), Riah Boege (sophomore), and Kenzie Bartel (junior).

King candidates include Jay Bessman, Jonas Buchanan, Liam Fitzsimmons, Rider Kupka, and Drayson Stephenson. King attendants include Easton Runner (freshman), Easton Sash (sophomore), and Landon Balmer (junior).

The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. in Garwin High School’s upper gym. Following the coronation, the Powder Puff game will kick off at 7:30 p.m. followed by the senior bonfire at 9 p.m.

On Friday, Oct. 9, the Homecoming Parade will take place at 2 p.m. in Garwin followed by the pep rally during which the parade float winner will be announced.

The Wolverines (0-5) are scheduled to take on Meskwaki (0-5) in 8-player District 6 gridiron action on Friday, Oct. 10, beginning at 7 p.m. in Garwin.

The Homecoming dance is set for Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8-11 p.m. in the upper gym. The theme this year is Under the Sea.
