GREEN MOUNTAIN – It’s a bird…it’s a plane…no, it’s GMG’s Super Hero Reading Buddies! These students may just think they are doing ordinary things, but their dedication to leadership and promoting growth in our young readers is of “Super Hero” qualities! The fifth and sixth grade students volunteer 10-15 minutes every morning to listen to some of our younger readers, read their ‘Just Right’ books. The younger students look forward to sharing their books with their reading buddy each day. This opportunity also promotes leadership, accountability, and pride in our students at GMG. Be on the lookout in our community for these Super Heros from the GMG School District.
