MARSHALLTOWN – These ladies and gentlemen helped at the Tama County American Legion Auxiliary sponsored picnic at the Iowa Veterans Home on August 2. Homegrown sweet corn, baked beans, chicken, meatballs, cheesy potatoes, potato salad, coleslaw, cucumbers, tomatoes, deviled eggs and homemade pies were served to approximately 80 residents.
