MORRISON – Don’t miss this upcoming free event for families and history enthusiasts alike!

Join Grundy County Conservation on Sunday, September 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grundy County Heritage Museum grounds in Morrison for a day of food, entertainment, and live demonstrations of pioneer crafts and skills.

The event will feature a farmer’s market, live music, and plenty of treats for sale. Take a tour of our museum buildings – including a real log cabin and a one-room schoolhouse – then take a bus tour and a horse-drawn trolley ride down to our Buckskinner’s camp. There will even be a drawing for a Charles Freitag print!

Activities for the kids include scavenger hunts, a petting zoo, games, face painting, and learning Morse code – all making for a truly unforgettable day of fall activities.
