REINBECK – All three downtown storefronts selected this year by the Reinbeck Development Committee to receive facade improvement grants have completed construction and are ready for the reveal! This week the Sun Courier is featuring the spiffy new facade for Vitality Med Spa by E&R Infusions located at 427 Main Street (the former Country Closet/Rostig building). The property is owned by Windypines Properties LLC which received a $1,000 facade grant for the improvements.

Vitality moved into the building this past May after relocating from Grundy Center where the clinic first opened in 2022.

“Whether your goal is to boost immunity, recover, improve performance or rehydrate, we have an extensive menu of IV infusions and IM [intramuscular] injections to pick from. We offer a wide variety of therapies for treatment of chronic and acute discomfort, and aesthetic and skin care services are available for relaxation, rejuvenation, and enhancement of your naturally beautiful features,” the Vitality website proclaims.

The clinic is helmed by Medical Director Rachel Schmidt, an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FPN-C) with 16 years of nursing experience, the majority in critical care and emergency medicine. Vitality also employs two aestheticians, Lyndi Bowen and Erin Baldwin.

In addition to infusions and a wide variety of esthetic services such as facials, waxing, and light therapy, the clinic also offers illness visits, physicals, trigger point injections, urinalysis, flu/strep/COVID testing, and pregnancy testing, per a recent social media post.

Ahead of the July Fourth holiday, Vitality’s windows were painted with a stunning floral border by Whimsical Twist muralist Candice Warby of Cedar Falls. Combined with the completed facade upgrades, this Main Street corner has transformed into a real showstopper.
