Gladbrook Memorial Day Services Schedule

Short Services
8:00 a.m.: 15-Mile Grove (Lincoln Township)
8:20 a.m.: Maple Hill
8:45 a.m.: Badger Hill
9:10 a.m.: Chapel Cemetery
9:30 a.m.: Union Grove Cemetery
9:50 a.m.: Union Grove Lake Beach (for those lost at sea)
10:15 a.m.: Crystal Cemetery
10:30 a.m.: Gethmann Cemetery
11:00 a.m.: All Veterans Memorial
All Veterans Memorial Park
Opening Prayer: Reverend John Granchie, Gladbrook Peace Church
Raising the Flags: “National Anthem” (led by David Buskohl & Jume Bessman, electric keyboard); American flag raised by Bruce Appelgate, Korean War Veteran

Please don’t be late at any of the services. It is better to be early. Rev. John Granchie will give the message at all the cemeteries. Taps will be played and there will be a colorguard at all the cemeteries. At the All-Veterans Park, patriotic music will be played ahead of the service. Poppies and memorial booklets will be distributed. There will be a lunch at the Memorial Building from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
