GLADBROOK – The Gladbrook American Legion Auxiliary hosted a Senior Dinner in the Festival of Trees on Dec. 6. A turkey dinner with all the trimmings was enjoyed by everyone in attendance. June Bessman played Christmas carols before the dinner and many enjoyed walking around and viewing the beautifully decorated trees. Everyone received a barn Christmas ornament for their favor. The program by Lori Sanderson and Bessman included singing Christmas carols. Sanderson read a poem titled “Country Christmas” as part of the 2024 “Barnyard Christmas” theme. All present received their Santa Sacks.
