GLADBROOK – The Gladbrook Junior Auxiliary would like everyone to participate in the program “Operation Christmas Child.” The purpose is to fill shoe boxes with gifts for children around the world by Christmastime. You may pick up the shoe boxes at Peace Church, fill them with school supplies, toys, jewelry, flashlights, extra batteries, stuffed animals, dolls, jump ropes, cars, etc. and return them to the church by Sunday, November 9. Please take labels that indicate if the box is for a boy or girl and ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14. You may also donate items and the Juniors will fill the boxes. This is a Samaritan Purse sponsored project, and millions of shoe boxes will be given away in the United States and across the world.
