GLADBROOK – Another big crowd is expected for our 12th annual Kids’ Shopping Day on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Peace Church, for kids aged three through high school. We hope you can join us. We will need you. So let us know if you want to help that day or if you have questions, call Jeanne at 641-751-2039, Becky Fish at 641-485-1377 or Cathy Gethmann 641-751-9639.

Items can be dropped off at the Gladbrook Methodist Church or Peace Church any time. If you need someone to pick up your gift items call Jeanne. The ‘guys’ will be happy to stop by the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 10.

While you are sorting or downsizing this fall, remember that we need gently used or new items for moms, dad, grandparents, brothers, sisters, etc. for our Christmas Store. We need lots of gift bags, wrapping paper, and tissue paper.

It’s great that the churches, organizations, and individuals in our community always find ways to help with our KSD efforts to support the children and families in our area. You are whole-heartedly thanked for your monetary donations that help us purchase gifts for each shopper or to boost the number of gift items in those departments with only a few items; for working so hard to wrap gifts; assisting our youngest shoppers; and of course, for donating items to be used as gift items in our KSD Christmas Store. We certainly want to thank you all for sharing the love of Jesus with so many.
