MARSHALLTOWN – Tama County American Legion and Auxiliary hosted the Tama County Iowa Veterans Home Picnic on Aug. 3. The Auxiliary provided meatballs, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, homegrown sweet corn, potato salad, tomatoes, coleslaw and various assortment of pies. We served 110 residents. Pictured are those who were there that day to help serve the food and also helping the residents through the line. The picnic is held every first Saturday of August.
