Transportation survey to include rural residents of Grundy County
The Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments (INRCOG) is excited to announce the launch of a transportation survey aimed at gathering crucial input from residents of rural Black Hawk, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Chickasaw, and Grundy Counties. This initiative is part of an extensive effort to identify transportation needs and priorities for the next 25 years, ensuring that the region’s transportation evolves in line with community demands.
“We believe that the insights and opinions of our residents are invaluable in shaping a transportation system that meets the diverse needs of our communities,” said Kyle Durant, Transportation Planner with INRCOG. “This survey is a key opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns, preferences, and ideas, directly influencing the planning and development process.”
The survey will cover various aspects of transportation, including but not limited to road maintenance, safety, public transit, and bicycling and pedestrian infrastructure. By participating, residents will help INRCOG in the development of a strategic transportation plan that addresses current challenges and anticipates future needs for the region.
