The Gladbrook American Legion and Auxiliary continued a long tradition of erecting a float for the Corn Carnival Grand Parade which took place this year on Friday, June 14. The theme of the patriotic float was “Eras of Veterans Protected Our Freedom.” Besides the banners, the float was decorated with military uniforms from WWI, poppy wreaths, and American flags.
