GLADBROOK – For over 100 years, the American Legion Auxiliary has sponsored Poppy Days to remind America that millions have sacrificed their lives and health to keep our nation strong and free. Members of the Gladbrook Jr. Auxiliary distributed poppies in Gladbrook on Wednesday, May 8. This is their favorite project of the year as all the proceeds go to help veterans and their families. The Juniors gave each resident of Westbrook Acres and the Independent Living a poppy.
