Get to know Mrs. Schultz

Mrs. Schultz has been teaching at GR for seven years.

Outside of school, Mrs. Schultz enjoys reading, cheering on the Cyclones, and hanging out with her twins.

Mrs. Schultz’s favorite thing about teaching at GR is the small school aspect. She likes that she knows all of the students and staff and can make connections with them. She feels that having these connections makes school fun.

As a teacher, Mrs. Schultz tries to make her lessons meaningful and authentic by relating to the world. She believes by doing this her students learn life lessons for areas beyond the classroom.

Something that people may not know about Mrs. Schultz is that if she wasn’t a teacher she would want to be a lawyer.

Get to know Mr. Kiburis

Mr. Kiburis has been teaching at GR for 15 years.

Outside of school, Mr. Kiburis enjoys walking his dog Rockie, watching baseball – specifically the Colorado Rockies, watching high school and college basketball along with golf, and playing cards.

Mr. Kiburis’s favorite thing about teaching at GR is the students that he gets to teach.

As a teacher, Mr. Kiburis strives to make sure his students feel comfortable being in his classroom and feel comfortable asking him and other students questions.

Something that people may not know about Mr. Kiburis is that his dream job is to be a stadium user for the Colorado Rockies.
