TOLEDO – The Tama County Historical Society will present “Tales of a Local Undertaker” on Wednesday, March 13, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Theatre, 101 S. Church St, Toledo, Iowa.

Marty Mitchell will highlight local traditions and the reasons why people have funerals, along with the challenges faced today. He’ll discuss the many options available today that were never available before, as well as an approach to terms we use today that may not have been known to come from funeral service.
