Strohbehn.

Get to know Mrs. Strohbehn

Mrs. Strohbehn has been teaching at GR for 24 years. She taught for three years before landing at GR.

Mrs. Strohbehn enjoys reading, playing video games, crocheting, and knitting outside of school. She also enjoys visiting science museums and zoos. In April, she plans to see the total solar eclipse and has found at least 3 zoos to visit along the way.

Mrs.Strohbehn is proud to tell people what great students she has and the wonderful staff she works with. She says that GR is a close-knit community that works hard to do what is best for the students.

As a teacher, Mrs. Strohbehn wants her students to be problem solvers. She hopes that her students remember that she cares and wants them to be successful.

Jones.

Something that people may not know about Mrs.Strohbehn is that while attending UNI she was the treasurer of Lawther Hall and helped keep the books for nine floors. She once spent three hours looking for a 10 cent error which she found.

Get to know Miss Jones

Miss Jones has been teaching for six years and this is her first year at GR.

Outside of school, Miss Jones enjoys coaching cheerleading in Waterloo, reading, spending time with her family, friends, and cats, and listening to Taylor Swift.

Miss Jones’s favorite thing about teaching at GR is the close-knit family feel as well as being able to teach multiple topics and students for more than just one year.

As a teacher, Miss Jones strives to make her room safe and encourage her students on a daily basis.

Something that people may not know about Miss jones is how much she enjoys line and swing dancing to country music
