Reinbeck – The Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District is looking for community voice and input regarding District facility planning. The District is searching for community members who would be interested in joining a Facility Task Force. Members will explore, brainstorm, and evaluate potential long-term, flexible, and fiscally responsible solutions as they relate to developing a District facility master plan. This examination will include the physical, functional, and educational needs of the District.

While the School Board will have many factors to consider, the Board is particularly interested in the broad and diverse perspective and input of community members.

If you are interested in serving in this capacity, we ask that you commit to attending all meetings in their entirety as the content shared will build upon each meeting. At the conclusion of the meetings, the input from this citizens’ committee will be shared with the School Board. Your voice is valued.

Please understand that we would like a representative sample from our communities as members of the Facility Task Force. We ask that Facility Task Force participants commit to attending all meetings. All meetings will be open to the public.

When and where?

There will be five meetings held between February and April:

-February 22

-February 29

-March 7

-March 27

-April 3

Meeting times will be from 6-8 p.m. Meeting locations will vary as members of the committee will tour facility spaces.
